It's Week 5 of the Enliven Our Vision Campaign!

Did you eat your fill of pancakes and bacon at last night's Elf Auction? Did you stay for Annual Meeting last Sunday? Were you at any of the Enliven Our Vision Engagement Sessions? Will you be at Ash Wednesday services today? It's a busy time to be at Redeemer!

Parishioners also remain busy contacting the families in our community to discuss the Enliven Our Vision Campaign. The campaign has set a goal of extending a personal invitation to participate in the campaign to each family by March 1. To date, over 90% of the families in our parish have been contacted!

As we prayerfully consider the Campaign, pledge cards continue to come in. To date, 22% of pledge cards have been returned!

How can we increase this number? We need to hear from you! Make arrangements to discuss the campaign with your fellow parishioners.  Prayerfully consider making a pledge.

Still have questions about the campaign? Unsure about how Mission funding will work? Wondering if your favorite pew will move in the Sanctuary redesign? Bruce or Mark are happy to discuss the Vision or Campaign and answer your questions.

The Enliven Our Vision Campaign is Off and Running!

Participation (%)

The Enliven Our Vision campaign just passed the three week mark!

In addition to the the $2 million monetary goal, a personal invitation to engage in the vision of our community lies at the heart of the campaign. These goals work hand in hand as we live into our mission statement of Invite In, Inspire, Reach Out. We will track not only each dollar, but each pledge received.

To date, 69% of the families in our parish have been contacted! Families are meeting over dinner, after church, or for coffee to discuss their place in Redeemer's future.

As a result, pledge cards are trickling in- totaling 15% participation across the parish. We look forward to this thermometer heading skyward as we head into Holy Week and the wrap up of our campaign.

This is an exciting time to be active at Redeemer!

The Vision for The Church of the Redeemer

Dear Parish Family:

Church of the Redeemer has a wonderful history of Christian ministry in Cincinnati and beyond.  Building on a strong foundation, we have worked hard to develop and grow into a vision of God’s call for our beloved parish.  This has been a transformative process which has led to a further awakening to our opportunities to serve God.

This journey led us to recommit to a profoundly simple yet all-encompassing vision statement which guides our congregation today:

Invite In, Inspire, and Reach Out.

This very deliberate growth and development process has ignited a parish-wide passion for our many ministries.

We are challenging ourselves to live a new and exciting vision, which is inspired by God and driven by our historic values. Our ministries are expanding and we are stretching our resources to meet the needs of our parish families, our neighbors, and others in the world.

At the same time, we recognize that in growing our ministries, we need to update our most sacred place of worship – the sanctuary – and make it more inviting and inspiring for our congregation and our community.

To enable the vision and goals to which we are being called, we will update our sanctuary with an attractive new design and improved functionality to serve now and future generations.  Equally important, we are called to a bold expansion of ministry beyond our walls; we see an opportunity to extend the depth and consistency of our mission work through an expanded Mission Outreach Endowment.

In the next few weeks, you can expect a call from a fellow parishioner, who will seek a time to talk with you in person.  I hope you will agree to visit with him/her to discuss this initiative and consider how you can help make the vision a reality.

I invite you to join me in this exciting adventure.

Yours in Christ,

Bruce Freeman
